Arona trains daily with AJ, a high-level competitor in the advanced ranks, and Alika, who boasts an incredible resume as a Wrestling State Champion, 3x State Placer, 3x Regional Champion, and a multiple-time IBJJF major medalist in the colored belts. When you are trading rounds with State Champions and international medalists every day, stepping onto the ADCC mats feels like just another day at the office.

If there was one standout takeaway from this ADCC, it was Arona’s wrestling. With a background that includes dominant success at Shadow Ridge—boasting a stellar high school record of 82-20 and championship runs at 106 lbs—his ability to dictate the pace of a match is second to none.
