Mason Fowler Third American to Win Gold at Brazilian Nationals 2022 -
Mason Fowler (CTA Black Belt) widely known for his No Gi accolades, including Submission Underground Champion and most recently ADCC East Coast Trials Gold, has continued his impressive streak by winning Gold at the Brazilian Nationals (his first Black Belt tournament). Brazilian Nationals is arguably the most difficult IBJJF Tournament with Brazil having a ton of talented Jiu Jitsu players, whom for various reasons cannot make the trek to the USA for Worlds or Pans.
Mason is the Third American Male Athlete to win Brazilian Nationals (Rafael Lovato & Isaac Doderlien) etching his name in the Jiu Jitsu History Books. To think a few short years ago Mason was working for Pepsi before committing full time to the Art and chasing his dreams.
